Bass heads the ledendary Grooverider is in town for Brunch’in & D&B Bham

If you like your bass heavy and want to hear some of the biggest D&B tracks of all time, then get ready as Brunch’in and D&B lands on 21st April at Level Digbeth.

Founders of Brunch’in and Hip Hop and Brunch’in and UK Garage launch a brand new super-sharp daytimer championing an original nutta sound! Multi award winning Shaanti and top experimental street-food festival organisers Taste and Liquor (Music) present the UKs first Brunch’in and D&B with headline guest Grooverider.

Kick starting their 2018 residency inside a converted cash and carry warehouse, this party will take us back in time; on a underground journey through the history of this music; as it celebrates the-depth of Jungle/Drum & Bass: the most exciting dance music to come out of the UK in recent times!

When it comes to drum and bass, it doesn’t get more iconic than this. Grab you crew and reprazent as it will cover the arrival of this pioneering sound on British shores and its subsequent re-circulation throughout the world in genres with a decade of club tunes and 160–180 BPM record needles leading up to that point.

Lord have mercy, as the playlist promises to be on fire expect solid cuts from Shy FX, Ed Rush & Optical, LTJ Bukem, Goldie, and Roni Size. Goldie, 4Hero, LTJ Bukem’s, Lemon D, Origin Unknownm, Roni Size, DJ Die,Optical, Peshay, Adam F, Dillinja. Street Food will be provided by some the UKs top street-food traders throughout the whole day however we strongly stress: “at our Brunch’in parties we never sit down to brunch.” Plus Bottomless Rum and Blackcurrent Cocktails will be offered on arrival from 12pm – 1pm.

This underground event promises no gimmicks, no inflatable microphones or karaoke Brunch’in and D&B is a daytimer where the sound defiantly comes first!
